Famous Wines of the Rhone & Saone Rivers

A cruise from Burgundy to Provence along the Rhone and Saone Rivers combines famous wines, rich cuisine and breathtaking beauty. This region, home to Chardonnay and Beaujolais wines, is perhaps the most famous winemaking area in the world. Cruising southern France, you will find inspiration on a walking tour of Arles, where Vincent Van Gogh created more than 300 paintings, including Starry Night. You can spend time in Lyon, located in the heart of the Rhone-Alps region and visit Dijon.  Dijon is known for its historic sites including the Notre Dame quarter, the crypt of St. Benign, and the Palais des Ducs which now contains the City Hall and Fine Art Museum.
