Our Cruisetour to Alaska:
John Tyson, professional photographer and author of Best Hikes Near Anchorage published by Falcon Guides, is offering a photography workshop aboard Holland America's Statendam June 27th on its northbound voyage from Vancouver to Seward, July 4th. Not only will you marvel as you watch glaciers calve from the deck of the ship, view whales, porpoises, sea otters, Stellar sea lions and puffins as they cavort in their summer habitat, but also have a professional photographer to assist you in capturing those once-in-a-life-time photos.

The cruisetour continues on land July 4-9th.
Keep your binoculars handy for Alaskan brown bears, moose, and Dall sheep as we traverse the Chugach Mountains by coach to Anchorage. The next morning we'll board the McKinley Explorer's glass-domed railcars bound for 2 nights at the Park Entrance of Denali. In the morning Denali's most popular Tundra Wilderness Tour will carry us deep inside the park for a chance at more Alaskan wildlife photos and a glimpse at "The Great One," herself. Revel in the majestic mountain scenery of the Great Land surrounding you! The next day continue your Great Land adventure aboard the Wilderness Express to Fairbanks for two nights where you'll experience a sternwheeler cruise aboard the Riverboat Discovery and try your luck panning for gold at Gold Dredge #8. Fly home on July 9th with a multitude of jawdropping pictures to share with friends and family chronicling your Alaskan adventure.
